Drop by drop it has started to rain,
all I could see is only you,
'Cause when it rains I remember you.

I can feel you when the droplets touch me
and find you standing close to me,
drenched in the memories of time spent with you
'cause when it rains I remember you.

Laying on the ground, I look at the sky
I see you there so innocent, so shy,
in the clouds I try to figure out you
'cause when it rains I remember you.

    Beautiful imagery!
    And rain eternally is the "benchmark" for romantic poetry!
    You have well made use of that!
    Way to go!

  4. now now...apart from being romantic i cant help but see it from a "dennis the menace"point of view[:P]
    what if it hardly rains at ur place?
    that would speak a lot for how much u remember that some one[:D]LOL...
    Sorry but am used to seeing things the cyrus way...but yes this was a really good one and a wee reminder to myself that i still have a long way to go b4 i can play with words the way u do.

    Thanks a ton dear! :) well just tried to make the perfect use of the "benchmark" of love... 'the rain'... glad to know that somehow succeeded in it! :)

    @Romil
    well for you I'm short of words... though there are a very few occasions which make me speechless... this is one of those... your comment watered my eyes... this is a big encouragement for a beginner like me... will try to add a few more stanzas...
    (in answer to your P.S) sure you can use it in your propose lines... but please don't forget to revel the truth that these are my lines! ;)

    @Rohit
    well rain is one point of time... and not the only point of time ;) when that 'some one' is remembered :)
    thanks for saying these words for me... even I still have miles to go!
    as I asked him... even you can use these lines... but please revel the truth! and don't fool her :D

    (reply to P.S)you said if it clicks you owe to me... that's all I demand as a royalty... nothing else! :)

  6. "Wordsworth" community on Orkut carries me to this beautiful blog page. I've read almost all the posts and love its contents.
    Coming to this specific piece of poetic contribution, I must frankly admit that it whispers something to me. Alike may not its author have wished to say. But, it is true to all literary contributions and it's quite relevant how an individual mind of a reader beholds of and responds to it. Simply, I love to share it.
    Firstly, it has an excellent flow. Although it is quite short in length it does not lose its breezy sequence abruptly.
    Secondly, it conveys me more of a revealing sense of severence with the innerself than of a romance in reminiscing a joyous togethernees of the past. The reflection is more of pains in identifying ownself than in losing it. I love to hear in that way and I'm satiated to hear in that way.
    Let more of it flourish in time to come.
    My best wishes,
