Life was smooth and enjoyable then
that was the time I was a child when,
There were no sorrows and no pain
I want to live my childhood again.

The games of doll and the games of ball
how happily and merrily the days passed all,
Playing in mud playing in rains
long vacations and journey by trains,
There were no sorrows and no pain
I want to live my childhood again

No pressure of work, no tension of job
wondering why a stone sinks and not a wooden log,
Feeling the independence on cycle's first ride
playing with the puppies by the road side,
There were no sorrows and no pain
I want to live my childhood again.

Admiring the flowers in Spring's day
collecting dried leaves in Autumn's way,
In the days of summer, playing whole noon
and in the cool breeze of winter talking to the moon,
There were no sorrows and no pain
I want to live my childhood again.

A very fine poem ....ideally captures the emotions of a person who is disheartened by the problems of the grown-ups.the writer has done a commendable job!
